Designing One Cabin, Two-day Challenge from ARBA
I reached out to ARBA to express my interest in an internship opportunity, as I had previously studied and illustrated their architectural works. Jean-Baptiste presented me with an intriguing challenge: to design a house within a two-day time frame, using a set of materials that included a zoning by-law document, a sitemap, a contract, and a mood board – all in French. I accomplished his challenge with the
aid of Revit and Google translate. He teased me, ‘ No one can design a house in two days.” Then, my internship began.
